EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT AND JOB BROKERAGE
The employment team at The Elthorne Learning Centre has collaborated with the following organisations, and we want to thank them for their assistance in making this project such a success. They include:
· Islington Law Centre that gives employment law advice to clients.
· Dress for Success gives assistance with free clothing to women that are seeking employment via interviews.
· Safeway’s has contributed for employment initiatives within Islington.
· SureStart has worked with us to ensure that together we combat unemployment.
· Job Centre Plus and Re-Work particularly Finsbury Park Job Centre who gave us the opportunity to assist their members at the Job Centre.
· Re-Work for assisting our clients to get money and clothing for interviews.
· Islington Enterprise Agency who assisted clients with professional self-employment guidance and advice on starting a business.
· Whittington Hospital with ‘Health Works 25+’ training programme for the people of Islington. They City and Islington College who we work with in employment and training. They have been complementing our services. Also the IAG members for assisting members with professional and viable options.
