My name is Sadia Abdi. I am from Mogadishou, Somalia. I'm 19 years old and a student at ELC in Archway, North London. I Live in London (Finsbury Park) with my grandmother, auntie and uncle.

My life in London is very nice now because I'm learning English. When I came to London I was very lonely because I didn't speak English at all and I could not understand the people so I was very sad.

But now I can speak and understand so much better - people understand me too! Before I always needed an interpreter but now I don't need one anymore.  I love learning English. I'm very happy because I have now got three ESOL Pitman Certificates (Basic, Elementary and Intermediate) and NOCN (ESOL).
